Tahuna-Wakil Bupati kepulauan Sangihe Tendris Bulahari hadiri panen raya dan pengumuman swasembada pangan bersama Presiden RI secara Daring di Balai penyuluhan pertanian Manente,Kelurahan Manente, Rabu (7/1/2025).
Selain Wakil Bupati, hadir juga Kapolres Sangihe, perwakilan Kodim 1301 Sangihe, Babinsa, Ketua Pengadilan Tahuna, Kepala Dinas Pertanian, Kepala Dinas Ketahanan Pangan, Kepala Cabang Bulog Sangihe, seluruh penyuluh dan kelompok tani se kabupaten Sangihe .
David Pananggung S.Pt. Ketua tim kerja penyuluh pertanian kabupaten kepulauan Sangihe saat diwawancara, menyampaikan Sesuai arahan Presiden RI, ada 2 komoditi yang patut dikembangkan yaitu, jagung dan padi dan untuk Sangihe sudah dilaksanakan di beberapa kampung .
“Dengan dukungan penuh dari Bupati dan wakil bupati juga masyarakat Sangihe, program ini sudah dilaksanakan termasuk penanaman padi sawah dikampung laine, padi ladang dan jagung dibeberapa tempat dan pengembangan tanaman holtikultura oleh masyarakat ” jelas Pananggung
Pananggung mengatakan di kabupaten Sangihe ada kurang lebih 90 hektar lahan diberbagai tempat, antara lain, kampung laine, tarolang, kalekube , naha, kuma, salurang dan di pulau Kawio.
“Kami sebagai penyuluh pertanian yang terseber di lima belas kecamatan sekabupaten Sangihe terus melakukan penyuluhan dan pembinaan kepada masyarakat terutama ratusan kelompok tani yang sudah terbentuk, namun dalam menurut pemantauan kami ada enam puluh kelompok yang aktif dan itu secara intens kami bina” ungkap Pananggung (Yoss)
