Bolmong – Dinas Perikanan dan Kelautan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow, membeberkan Kapal Nelayan bolmong tercatat sekitar 541 perahu nelayan baik kapasitas kecil maupun besar yang tersebar di wilayah pesisir.
Rata-rata penggunaan nelayan pada penangkapan Ikan Demersal (Ikan Dasar).
Kepala Dinas Perikanan dan Kelautan Kabupaten Bolmong Wahyudin Gonibala melalui Kabid Perikanan tangkap Supriadi Agantu, mengatakan pihaknya telah mengidentifikasi 541 kapal nelayan di pesisir Bolaang Mongondow.
Menurut Yadi hasil tangkap nelayan di dominasi pada ikan demersal melalui alat tangkap pancing tradisional handline.
Selain itu Yadi juga menyatakan wilayah teritorial laut Bolaang Mongondow merupakan Sehingga mereka tidak memiliki kewenangan dalam menindak para nelayan nelayan yang suka melakukan ilegal fishing lewat pengeboman yang bisa merusak karang. (***)
