Manado – Guna melakukan kewaspadaan penyebaran Covid-19 atau Virus Corona di Kota Manado, Walikota, DR. Ir. GS Vicky Lumentut, SH, M.Si, DEA, bentuk Satuan Tugas Kesiapsiagaan dan Kewaspadaan Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Terhadap Penularan Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19), untuk mengoptimalkan berbagai langkah kesiapsiagaan.
Pada rapat bertempat dikediaman Walikota Manado, di kecamatan Malalayang, Minggu (15/03/2020). dihadiri Ketua TP PKK Kota Manado, Prof. DR. Julyeta PA Lumentut – Runtuwene, MS, DEA, para pejabat terkait serta tokoh agama.
Kesiapsiagaan dilakukan baik dalam bentuk pelayanan kesehatan maupun satgas agar covid – 19 dapat dieliminasi penyebarannya di tengah-tangah masyarakat sehingga masyarakat Kota Manado dapat terlindungi.
Walikota GSVL menyatakan, Satgas Kota Manado ini nantinya memiliki tugas yakni melakukan deteksi dini bersama instansi terkait lewat aduan yang terstruktur mulai dari tingkat Lingkungan, Kelurahan kemudian Kecamatan.
“Satgas ini menjadi penting untuk menjadi referensi bagi masyarakat yang ingin mengkonfirmasi atau mungkin yang menemukan tanda-tanda yang dikhawatirkan itu menjadi penanda indikasi Virus Covid – 19,” ujar Walikota GSVL.
Tak lupa Walikota GSVL juga mengajak jajaran Pemerintah Kota Manado dan masyarakat Kota Manado untuk bersama-sama hadapi pencegahan Covid-19. Seraya merendahkan diri berdoa meminta perlindungan Tuhan Yesus Yang Maha Kuasa. (JM)
