Manado – Giat Walikota Manado DR. Ir. GS Vicky Lumentut, SH, M.Si, DEA,setelah menghadiri Upacara peringatan ke-71 Hari Bela Negara, dan selaku Inspektur Upacara. Walikotapun langsung bergerak memantau kegiatan serta aktifitas di tempat pembuangan sampah di TPA Sumompo Kecamatan Tuminting dan lanjut meninjau Pembangunan pasar rakyat tahap satu di Kelurahan Buha Kecamatan Mapanget.
Terpantau dilokasi TPA banyak antrian sampah, dan Walikota berharap segera ditangani Dinas terkait, begitupun untuk pembangunan pasar tahap I di Buha, sehingga dapat meningkatkan daya beli dari masyarakat.
” Terima kasih, Tuhah Memberkati, sehingga rakyatku punya daya beli, Ayo wargaku Manado buang sampah pada tempatnya dan jangan buang diselokan, sungai dan pantai. Akhir tahun ini Incenerator di beberapa kecamatan mulai bekerja sehingga beberapa wilayah sampahnya tidak lagi dibuang ke TPA Sumompo,” ujar Walikota dua periode pilihan rakyat ini.
Hadir mendampingi, Sekretaris Daerah Kota Manado, Micler CS Lakat, SH, MH, Asisten I Setda Kota Manado, Drs Heri Saptono, Asisten II Setda Kota Manado, dr. Nora Lumentut, Kepala BKPSDM Kota Manado, Xaverius A. Runtuwene, S.IP, dan sejumlah Pejabat Eselon II dan III dilingkup Kota Manado. (*/AH)
