Manado – Kapolsek Pineleng IPTU Shirley B D Mangelep SH MH, bersama Danramil Pineleng MAYOR INF ALEX W. MUSAK dan anggota Koramil 1309-04/Pineleng, anggota Polsek serta Bhayangkari Ranting Pineleng, melalukan kegiatan penanaman pohon di Lingkungan Mako Polsek Pineleng, Kamis (9/1) pagi tadi.
Kapolsek Pineleng IPTU Shirley B D Mangelep SH MH mengatakan, jumlah bibit yang ditanam sekitar 300 bibit. Jenis Pohon yakni Pohon Mahoni, Pohon Matoa, Pohon Durian, Mangga, Jambu Air, Sirsak, Matoa, dan lain lain.
“Tujuan dari penanaman pohon tersebut dilakukan sebagai upaya pencegahan berbagai bencana alam. Seperti mencegah banjir, tanah longsor, serta mengurangi polusi yang memberikan efek positif bagi manusia serta untuk masa depan anak cucu kita,” tandasnya.
Perlu diketahui kegiatan ini untuk menindak lanjuti Program Kapolri yakni Polri Peduli Penghijauan. Sementara lokasi penanaman bertempat di Mako Polsek Pineleng, Lingkungan Asrama Polsek dan lahan yang disediakan di Desa Pineleng Dua Indah Jaga III, Kecamatan Pineleng, Kabupaten Minahasa, milik dari anggota Polri.
