Tomohon – Pemerintah Kota Tomohon bersama panitia TIFF melaksanakan Simulasi Tournament of Flower (ToF) kedua atau parade kendaraan hias bunga dilaksanakan di ruas jakan tomohon, Jumat (02/08/19).
Sebagian ruas jalan di Kota Tomohon termasuk jalan utama ditutup mulai Pukul 10:00 Wita hingga selesai simulasi.
Sekretaris Daerah Ir. H.V. Lolowang, M.Sc didampingi koordinator Seksi ToF Asisten II Ir. Djoike karouw, M.Si dan Asisten I Drs. O.D.S Mandagi serta Kadis Pariwisata Masna Pioh S.Sos turun langsung mengikuti simulasi ini.
Walikota Tomohon melalui Sekretaris Daerah mengatakan bahwa simulasi tahap kedua ini memakan waktu lebih lama dari simulasi pertama karena sudah menggambarkan peserta yang akan ikut dalam ToF.
Sebanyak 32 mobil peserta dan Marching Band dari SMP, SMA dan dari IPDN mengikuti simulasi ini serta kurang lebih 1200 orang peserta tarian Ma’zaani.
“Kembali kami memohon maaf kepada pengguna jalan karena selama beberapa waktu jalan ditutup. Kami berterima kasih atas pengertian masyarakat dalam proses simulasi tahap ke II ini,” ucap Sekda Lolowang. (Oma)
