Jakarta – Kegiatan Indonesia Innovation Award 2019 memberikan apresiasi terhadap peningkatan pelayanan prima dan cepat kepada publik, atas kreatifitas dan inovasi yang terus mengalami peningkatan oleh Pemerintah Kota Manado dibawah kepemimpinan Walikota Vicky Lumentut, bersama Wakil Walikota Mor. D Bastiaan.
Dalam ajang tersebut, menetapkan Pemerintah Kota Manado menjadi Pemenang Indonesia Innovation Award 2019, untuk dua kategori yakni : 1. Innovation on portal data berbasis peta (PANADA) 2019 Pemerintah Kota Manado 2. Best Walikota Indonesia Innovation Award (IIA) 2019. Penghargaan tersebut, langsung diterima Walikota, bertempat di Grand Ballroom The Fairmont Hotel Jakarta, Kamis (25/04).
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Walikota menyampaikan Syukur kepada Tuhan, atas hasil kerja keras,kerja cerdas dari kawan-kawan khususnya di BIG data Bapelitbangda dan Perangkat Daerah terkait inovasi PANADA (Portal Analisa Data Berbasis Peta). Dalam pengelolaan Pemerintahan berbasis Elektronik sejak tahun 2016 dengan tujuan, layanan data peta dengan mudah dan cepat untuk dimanfaatkan oleh publik (stakeholder). Sehingga menjadi salahsatu pemenang IIA Pemerintah Daerah tahun 2019 ini. “ Makase banyak kawan-kawan, Pemerintah Kota yang kreatif dan rakyatku Manado yang hebat dan cerdas. Ayo kita jangan cepat puas dan lelah, untuk terus berkreasi dan berinovasi karena torang sudah masuk pada revolusi industri 4.0. jangan torang tatinggal dengan smart city lainnya, “ Pesan Walikota.
