Manado – Seorang lelaki berinisial MSI alias Melky (27) warga Desa Tawali Kecamatan Manganitu Kabupaten Sangihe, kini harus mempertanggung jawabkan perbuatannya. Pasalnya, lelaki yang diketahui seorang buruh ini telah melakukan tindak pidana penyebaran ujaran kebencian melalui media sosial. Ia diamankan Tim Opsnal Unit Ranmor Polresta Manado, saat berada di rumahnya, Jumat (31/1) lalu.
Menurut informasi yang dirangkum, peristiwa itu berawal pada Selasa (28/1) lalu. Dimana, pelapor yang adalah seorang anggota Polri mendapatkan kiriman potongan gambar (screen shot) yang merupakan status di media sosial (Facebook) dengan memakai nama akun Patz Inggar Adile, dan di status tersebut terlihat jelas bahwa menuliskan kata kata ujaran kebencian serta hinaan atau hasutan terhadap suku bantik yang dapat menimbulkan rasa permusuhan antara suku yang ada di Kota Manado.
Berdasarkan adanya laporan tersebut, Tim Opsnal Unit V Ranmor Polresta Manado yang dipimpin Aipda Denny Roinwowan langsung melakukan penyelidikan terhadap akun tersebut. Setelah diketahui identitas dan keberadaan pelaku, akhirnya Tim langsung bergerak menuju Kabupaten Sangihe.
Alhasil setelah berkoordinasi dengan Tim Scorpio Polres Talaud, akhirnya pelaku diringkus saat berada dirumahnya. Selanjutnya digiring ke Mapolresta Manado untuk proses lebih lanjut.
Sementara itu, Kapolresta Manado Kombes Pol Benny Bawensel SIK, melalui Kasat Reskrim AKP Thommy Aruan SH SIK MH, membenarkan adanya penangkapan tersebut, “untuk pelaku akan dikenakan Pasal 45A ayat (2) Jo Pasal 28 Ayat (2) UU RI No. 19 Tahun 2016 ttg Perubahan Atas UNDANG UNDANG No 11 TAHUN 2008 Tentang Informasi Dan Transaksi Elektronik,” Pungkasnya.
