Sulut – Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Kepala Perwakilan Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) Sulut, Drs Sugiatna MM,mengunjungi Desa Tangkuney, Kecamatan Tumpaan, Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan (Minsel), Selasa (29/1/2019).
Dalam kunjungan itu, Sugiatna didampingi Kepala Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk, Keluarga Berencana dan Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (PPKBP3A) Kabupaten Minsel, Meity N. Tumbuan, meninjau langsung rumah data serta kelompok kerja (Pokja) di desa itu,terkait terpilihnya desa yang berjarak sekitar 13 kilometer dari Tumpaan sebagai Center of Excellence (CoE) Kampung Keluarga Berencana (KB) untuk Kabupaten Minsel.
CoE Kampung KB adalah kampung-kampung yang dianggap sebagai percontohan keberhasilan dalam menjalankan program KB.
Dijelaskan Sugiatna, beberapa kriteria yang harus dipenuhi Kampung KB adalah, memiliki Kelompok Kerja (Pokja), memiliki rumah data dan pojok kependudukan, serta memiliki Penyuluh Kependudukan Keluarga Berencana dan Pembangunan Keluarga (KKBPK) yang aktif. Selain itu, juga telah ada intervensi pembangunan lintas sektor baik pembangunan materil maupun spiritual.
Sementara itu Bupati Minsel, Dr Christiany E. Paruntu SE saat menerima Kepala BKKBN Perwakila Sulut dan rombongan di Kantor DPRD Kabupaten Minsel, menegaskan dukungan dan komitmen untuk meningkatkan pembangunan di Minsel melalui Kampung KB.
“Kami sangat mendukung karena ini adalah bagian program pemerintah pusat,” ujar Bupati Tetty.
Selain di Minsel, kunjungan juga dilakukan ke CoE Kampung KB Desa Saleo, Kecamatan Bolangitang Timur, Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Utara (Bolmut), sehari kemudian, (30/1/2019). (*)
