Morut-Jajaran Polsek Mori Atas bekerjasama dengan Damkar Morowali Utara (Morut), dipimpin langsung Kapolsek Mori Atas, Iptu Ruben Hehi SH, terjun langsung untuk melakukan pemadaman kebakaran yang terjadi diwilayah Dusun Pandiri Desa Peonea Kecamatan Mori Atas, Kabupaten Morut, Rabu (04/09/2023) malam sekitar pukul 19.30 wita.
Kapolsek Mori Atas, Ruben Hehi, yang dikonfirmasi media ini, membenarkan peristiwa kebakaran itu.
Ia menjelaskan, lokasi kebakaran tersebut merupakan padang dengan luasan kurang lebih sekitar 5 ha.
“Saat ini, untuk luasan perkebunan warga yang terbakar, masih sementara di inventarisir oleh Kepala Dusun setempat, ” jelas mantan Kapolsek Lembo itu.
