Manado- Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) bekerjasama dengan Dinas Perhubungan kota Manado,menggelar kegiatan Bakti Sosial (Baksos) dengan mengambil tema Peningkatan kapasitas SDM, Profesionalisme dan pelayanan umum, melalui peningkatan dan pemeriksaan kesehatan di lingkungan dinas Perhubungan kota Manado. Bertempat di kantor Dinas Perhubungan, Kamis (28/11/2019).
Kegiatan ini dibuka secara langsung oleh Wakil Ketua TP-PKK Kota Manado, Imelda Markus.
Dalam sambutannya Wakil Ketua TP-PKK Kota Manado mengatakan banyak hal yang bisa dilakukan untuk bisa mencapai peningkatan kapasitas SDM, namun semua akan menjadi baik jika telah didahului dengan tubuh yang sehat.
“Sehat itu sangat mahal harganya. Jadi kami bersyukur Dharma wanita Dishub Manado bisa menggelar kegiatan ini. Kiranya setiap Dinas/Badan bisa menggelar kegiatan seperti ini,”ujar Imelda.
Sementara itu Ketua Dharma Wanita Dinas Perhubungan Marini Tandirerung Kapojos mengatakan, pihaknya menggelar kesehatan seperti, cek jantung, cek tekanan darah, kolesterol, asam urat, kanker rahim iva test, donor darah, cek HIV-AIDS.
“Tidak hanya pegawai saja yang melakukan pemeriksaan akan tetapi para masyarakat yang ada di sekitar kantor Dishub datang melakukan pemeriksaan secara gratis,”tutur Marini.
Turut hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut Ketua DWP Kota Manado Anie Lakat Mailoor, pejabat dari Dishub Manado, jajaran DWP kota Manado. (*)
