Bolangitang – Akibat hujan yang turun semalam, sungai Desa Ollot yang melintasi beberapa Desa di Kecamatan Bolangitang Barat meluap.
Oleh sebab itu warga yang tingga di pinggiran sungai perlu meningkatkan kewaspadaan.
Meluapnya DAS Desa Ollot Akibat curah hujan kurang lebih 8 jam, Pemerintah kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Utara (Bolmut) menghimbau kepada masyarakat agar cepat tanggap dan menjaga kemungkinan debit air akan lebih naik lagi.
Dasar Alir Sungai Desa Ollot yang meluap, juga mengakibatkan ratusan hektar lahan perkebunan jagung terancam gagal panen akibat terendam banjir.
Sangadi Desa Sonuo Harsono Puasa menegaskan kepada masyarakat sebelum adanya korban dan kerugian materil, agar selalu waspada mengingat intensitas hujan mulai meningkat dari bulan Februari dan diperkirakan akan berakhir pada bulan Maret. (*/JM)
