Sitaro-Mendampingi Wakil Gubernur Sulawesi Utara Drs. Steven Kandouw, Danlanud Sam Ratulangi Marsma TNI Ramot C.P. Sinaga, S.E., M.Han., beserta Forkopimda Sulawesi Utara meninjau lokasi terdampak bencana erupsi Gunung Ruang di Pulau Tagulandang, Kabupaten Kepulauan Sitaro dari Pelabuhan Manado. Selasa (23/4/2024).
Menggunakan KN SAR Bima Sena 228 Basarnas, Forkopimda Sulawesi Utara bertolak menuju Tagulandang untuk meninjau posko terpadu, lokasi terdampak bencana erupsi Gunung Ruang sekaligus menyerahkan bantuan bagi masyarakat.
Rencananya selama disana akan memantau fasilitas publik maupun rumah warga yang terdampak bencana erupsi Gunung Ruang.
Pasca erupsi Gunung Ruang pada 17 April lalu, sebanyak 833 jiwa atau 301 kepala keluarga yang mendiami dua desa yakni Laing Patehi dan Pumpente telah dievakuasi. Erupsi Gunung Ruang mengakibatkan 12.476 jiwa terdampak dan 3.598 jiwa harus mengungsi. Selain itu sebanyak 3.908 rumah penduduk yang berada di Pulau Ruang dan Pulau Tagulandang rusak. (*/Mal)
