Manado – Dalam upaya pengecahan dan penyebaran covid-19 (virus corona) Pemerintah Kota Manado mulai memasang tempat cuci tangan di tempat publik, Senin (23/3/2020).
Kepala Bapelitbang Liny Tambajong mengatakan, dari 53 tempat cuci tangan yang direncanakan di tempat publik, yang baru terpasang 12 unit. “Sisanya masih sementaran proses. Dalam waktu dekat sudah terpasang,” ujarnya.
Menurut dia, tempat cuci tangan yang dipasang ini merupakan partisipasi perangkat daerah Kota Manado. Karena Wali Kota Manado GS Vicky Lumentut meminta di tempat publik harus tersedia tempat cuci tangan.
“Supaya setiap saat masyarakat dapat mencuci tangan untuk memutus mata rantai Covid-19,” pungkasnya.
Sebelumnya Wali Kota Manado mengimbau perkantoran, hotel, pusat perbelanjaan, restoran, rumah makan, pasar agar menyiapkan tempat cuci tangah di air mengalir beserta sabun antiseptik atau hand sanitizer. (*)
