Amurang – Bupati Minahasa Selatan (Minsel) DR. Christiany Eugenia Paruntu, SE menghadiri ibadah perayaan Natal Jemaat GMIM Efrata Uwuran Wilayah Amurang Satu Kelurahan Uwuran II, Rabu (18/12/2019).
Bupati Tetty Paruntu dalam sambutannya mengatakan memaknai hari kelahiran Yesus Kristus di bulan Desember ini sangat penting. Oleh karena itu, kita selaku jemaat harus merayakan yang sesungguhnya,bahwa Tuhan Yesus Kristus benar-benar hadir dalam diri kita, karena di setiap pengharapan ada berkat yang mengalir.
“Di hari yang spesial ini kita selaku makhluk ciptaan Tuhan yang paling mulia, harus saling memaafkan sesama kita. Juga lebih mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan serta selalu mengandalkan Tuhan dalam setiap aktivitas kita sehari-hari,” ujar Bupati Tetty Paruntu.
Diakhir ibadah perayaan natal, Bupati Tetty Paruntu bersama jajaran memberikan diakonia Natal kepada seluruh jemaat yang hadir terutama para lansia.
Di hadiri anggota jemaat dari berbagai gereja di Minsel,para lansia serta seluruh Pelayanan Khusus (Pelsus) dan para tokoh agama dan hamba hamba Tuhan. (Kiki Liando)
