Manado – Hotel Best Western The Lagoon yang bertempat di Kawasan Bahu Mall, merayakan HUT Proklamasi yang ke-74. Dengan Tema “The Spirit Of Raising Flag”, Hotel yang menjadi icon dari Kota Manado ini mengadakan Upacara Bendera memperingati HUT Proklamasi di halaman depan hotel dipagi hari pada tanggal 17 Agustus 2019.
Usai melakukan upacara, kegiatan yang berlangsung sejak tanggal 15 sampai 17 Agustus ini dilanjutkan dengan berbagai lomba yang diikuti oleh seluruh karyawan hotel. Semangat kemerdekaan jelas terlihat dari setiap ekspresi karyawan, sejak tanggal 15 Agustus hotel dengan kapasitas 185 kamar ini sudah memulai perlombaan dalam rangka hari kemerdekaan.
Tak hanya itu saja, pihak dari Best Western The Lagoon Hotel ini juga mendatangkan juri-juri profesional seperti Noni Provinsi Sulawesi Utara 2018, Wakil 1 Putri Tomohon 2019 dan Vokalis Redwine Band guna untuk menilai beberapa perlombaan yang dilaksanakan.
Perayaan hari kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia ke-74 tahun ini memberikan kesan yang luar biasa bagi karyawan seluruh hotel. Kekompakan dari masing-masing departemen jelas terlihat dalam kegiatan kali ini. Beberapa perlombaan yang dilaksanakan adalah Lagoon Idol, Tebak Kata, Fashion Show, Tarik Tambang, Lari Karung, Lari Kelereng, Tenis Meja, Catur dan Lomba Make Up.
