Manado – Kasus pencurian kendaraan bermotor (Curannor) kembali menghantui masyarakat kota Manado. Pasalnya, dua motor jenis Honda Beat raib digasak maling yang belum diketahui identitasnya. Kejadian itu terjadi di dua lokasi yang berbeda yakni di Kelurahan Bahu, Lingkungan VI, Kacamatan Malalayang dan Kelurahan Malalayang Satu, Lingkungan V, Kecamatan Malalayang, Senin (17/02) kemarin.
Informasi yang dirangkum, menurut data dan laporan pihak kepolisian. Awalnya motor milik korban Novera Umbase (29), warga Desa Tibobo, Jaga III, Kecamatan Sahu, Halmahera Barat, yang berdomisili di Kelurahan Bahu, Lingkungan VI, Kecamatan Malalayang ini memarkir motor Honda Beat DB 2547 MR di garasi rumah. Keesokan paginya, saat korban hendak menggunakan kembali motor tersebut sudah tidak ada. Akibatnya, korban mengalami kerugian Sebesar Rp 20 juta.
Sama halnya dengan korban Novera. Perempuan bernama Marcelina Tahulending (25) warga Desa Sonsilo, Jaga I, Kecamatan Likupang Barat, Minahasa Utara (Minut). Dimana motor Honda Beat DB 4161 FY, dengan sengaja dicuri pelaku yang tidak dikenali. Motor kesayangannya itu raib saat diparkir di garasi kos-kosan. Akibatnya, korban mengalami kerugian sebesar Rp 4.8 Juta. Kedua korban yang tidak terima dengan kejadian tersebut menyambangi Polsek Malalayang dan melaporkan kejadian itu ke pihak berwajib.
Kapolresta Manado Kombes Pol Benny Bawensel, ketika dikonfirmasi melalui Kasat Reskrim Tommy Aruan, ketika di konfirmasi membenarkan adanya kedua laporan itu . “Kami sudah menerima laporan tersebut dan akan segera ditindak lanjuti oleh unit Reskrim,” ujar Aruan. (Dwi)
