Manado – Seusai memberikan pembekalan kepada Siswa Polri di Sekolah Polisi Negara (SPN) Karombasan, Kota Manado, Sulut Selasa (25/2/2020).
Kapolda Sulawesi Utara (Sulut) Irjen Pol Drs Royke Lumowa MM, memberikan instruksi tegas kepada seluruh anggota Polri yang memback up prihal bisnis Ilegal Tambang Emas tanpa Ijin.
“Saya akan menindak tegas para oknum anggota yang memuluskan bisnis tambang ilegal yang merugikan negara,apalagi kalau sampai kedapatan anggota tersebut sebagai pemodal atau ikut serta secara langsung dilapangan dalam bianis Ilegal tersebut”,tegasnya.
Mantan Kapolresta Manado itu juga mengarahkan,kalau tambang itu milik masyarakat, mendingan diurus ijinnya kepada pemerintah daerah untuk menjadi legal, agar bisa memberikan manfaat kepada masyarakat dan pemerintah bisa mendapat pendapatan daerah.
Ditambahkan juga,kalau tambang ilegal terus dibiarkan pasti akan menimbulkan konflik sosial dalam masyarakat,sehingga dapat menyebabkan permasalahan baru.
“Maka dari itu saya sudah meminta para Kapolres, untuk menertibkan tambang ilegal tersebut, dan dalam waktu dekat saya akan turun ke lokasi karna sesuai arahan Kapolri harus turun ditengah-tengah masyarakat dan menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawab sebagai penegak hukum.
“Jika ke dapan ada oknum polisi yang back up, saya akan berikan sanksi tegas, ” tegas Kapolda. (*)
