Manado – Dalam usaha bersama untuk penanganan pencegahan dan penyebaran covid -19 di Kota Manado, Walikota. DR. Ir . GS Vicky Lumentut, SH,M.Si, DEA, Pagi tadi, Senin (23/03). menggelar rapat bersama Direktur Prof Kandou Malalayang Manado, DR. dr. Jemmy Panelewen, juga didampingi juru bicara Satgas covid – 19 Kota Manado. drg. Sanil Marentek.
Hal itu guna membahas tentang situasi Kota Manado terkini terkait covid -19 dan langkah -langkah antisipasi Pemkot untuk membatasi penularan covid-19 di Kota Manado.
Diketahui, telah ada begitu banyak upaya dari Pemerintah Kota Manado, diantaranya memasang tempat cuci tangan di sejumlah titik keramaian, melakukan penyemprotan cairan disinfektan di tempat ibadah maupun jalan-jalan, menerapkan work from home untuk memaksimalkan social distancing, meningkatkan kewaspadaan dan pelayanan di seluruh Puskesmas yang ada dan upaya lainnya.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Walikota GSVL menyampaikan terima kasih dan apresiasi setinggi-tingginya kepada seluruh unsur tenaga kesehatan yang hingga kini berjuang melawan COVID-19 di garis depan.
“Terima kasih untuk semua petugas kesehatan yang juga melayani di Puskesmas dan rumah sakit. Ini tidak mudah, tapi mari kita lawan bersama,” ujar Walikota GSVL.
Lanjut Walikota GSVL, saat ini, selain berupaya memaksimalkan setiap upaya dan tahapan secara medis dalam penanganan COVID-19, satu hal yang tidak boleh dilupakan adalah meminta penyertaan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.
“Mari kita semua warga Manado berdoa agar COVID-19 dihentikan oleh Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa dari kota Manado, Provinsi Sulut dan tentunya lndonesia juga Dunia yang kita cintai ini,” kata Walikota GSVL.
Selain itu Walikota GSVL, langsung memantau kegiatan penyemprotan disinfektan yang dilakukan PMI Kota Manado, Satgas covid -19 Kota Manado dan BPBD Kota Manado di tempat publik, perkantoran, dan rumah-rumah ibadah, diantaranya, Kantor Pengadilan Negeri Manado, Malayang Satu Barat, RSUP Prof Kandou dan Kawasan Megamas.
