Tomohon – Ibadah syukur Hari Ulang Tahun ke – 71 Jemaat GMIM “Maranatha” Paslaten Wilayah Tomohon satu, yang dirayakan tepat pada tanggal 14 oktober, dilaksanakan di gedung Gereja Senin (14/10/19) malam.
Khadim dalam ibadah KKR Pdt Adolf Wenas MTh, selaku Sekretaris Departemen Misi dan Oikumene Sinode GMIM menyampaikan bahwa mengingatkan kepada jemaat tentang pentingnya jemaat untuk selalu berseru kepada Tuhan dalam situasi apapun.
Sadarlah ketika kita sebagai umatNya saat mendapat pencobaan, kalau ingin dipulihkan hendaknya hidup merendahkan diri dalam segala hal.
Walikota Tomohon Jimmy F Eman SE Ak CA dalam penyampaiannya diyakini bersama bahwa keberhasilan berbagai program dalam jemaat itu oleh karena anugerah dari Tuhan. Sebagai jemaat marilah kita menjadi berkat bagi sesama.
“Dengan Harapan Kiranya momentum syukur ini akan dibarengi pula dengan peningkatan kualitas persekutuan, kesaksian dan pelayanan yang diharapkan akan melahirkan pribadi-pribadi yang memiliki iman yang teguh serta jemaat yang dewasa dan mandiri,” Ujar Walikota Eman.
“Selaku Pemerintah Kota Tomohon berharap agar jemaat tetap terus bersinergi bersama pemerintah dalam menyukseskan berbagai program-program untuk kepentingan masyarakat Kota Tomohon pada umumnya,” Tutup Walikota Eman.
Saat itu dilakukan juga pemasangan lilin ulang tahun.
Hadir Ketua BPMJ Maranatha Paslaten Pdt Santje Tangel Tombeg STh bersama jemaat kolom 1 – 29 didalamnya juga para perangkat pelayanan jemaat. (Oma)
