Tomohon – Tim Verifikasi pusat terdiri dari Kementerian Dalam Negeri, Kementerian Kesehatan dan Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup Selasa (17/9/2019) hari ini melakukan Verifikasi Kota Sehat Wistara II di Kota Tomohon.
Program ini menjadi harapan pemerintah dan masyarakat untuk mewujudkan Kota Tomohon menuju Kota Sehat dan terus berupaya lebih banyak lagi mensosialisasikan bentuk hidup bersih dan sehat di tengah-tengah masyarakat.
Walikota Tomohon Jimmy F. Eman,SE.Ak, CA diwakili Sekretaris Daerah Ir. H.V. Lolowang, M.Sc menerima kedatangan Tim Verifikasi Kab/Kota Sehat Tingkat Nasional Ibu Dewi Marlina dan Ibu Alissa Ridha.
Sambutan Walikota diwakili Sekretaris Daerah mengatakan bahwa Pemerintah Kota Tomohon memberikan dukungan sepenuhnya pada Program Kota Sehat karena program ini memberikan manfaat langsung dalam mengatasi berbagai masalah kesehatan melalui upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan meningkatkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat dalam keluarga serta di lingkungan masing masing.
Ketua Tim Verifikasi Kota Sehat Ibu Dewi Marlina menyampaikan bahwa Tim Verifikasi mengapresiasi upaya keseriusan pemerintah Kota Tomohon dalam menghadapi verifikasi kota sehat saat ini.
Dengan Harapan Konsep kota sehat ini tidak hanya memfokuskan pada pelayanan kesehatan yang lebih ditekankan pada suatu pendekatan kondisi sehat dan problem sakit saja, tetapi juga kepada aspek menyeluruh yang mempengaruhi kesehatan masyarakat, baik jasmani dan rohani.
Hadir dalam acara tersebut Anggota DPRD Tomohon Erens Kereh, AMKL, perwakilan dari Biro Kesra Prov. Sulut dr. Voldha A. Welan, perwakilan dari Dinas Kesehatan Prov. Sulut Jenne Mandu, SKM, perwakilan Bappeda Prov Sulut Dra. Yanny Palit, SE. Ketua Forum Kota Sehat Kota Tomohon Drs.
