Manado – Pemerintah Kota Manado, sukses menggelar upacara adat Tulude, dimana prosesi acara ditandai dengan dibawahnya kue Tamo yang diarak mulai dari Gereja Sentrum Manado melewati pusat kota, terus ke jalan Sudirman sampai dilapangan Sparta Tikala, selama arak-arakan kue Tamo masyarakat begitu antusias melihat kue Tamo dibawah oleh tim adat, dikawal dengan pasukan Paskibra, grup masamper, tarian adat serta marching band Satpol PP Kota Manado. Rabu (05/02/2020).
Suksesnya upacara adat Tulude di Kota Manado merupakan hal yang patut disyukuri, terutama kerja keras dari semua pihak yang memungkinkan Tulude di Manado saat berjalan dengan baik.
Penghargaan yang tinggi pun diberikan Walikota Manado, DR. Ir. GS Vicky Lumentut, SH, M.Si, DEA kepada Ikatan Kekeluargaan Sangihe, Sitaro dan Talaud (IKISST) yang masih tetap bersama dengan Pemerintah Kota Manado dalam merawat Rumah Besar dengan kekayaan budaya yang ada.
“Mari kita rawat bersama Rumah Besar Kita ini, bersama dengan semua etnik yang ada di Manado. Hari ini Tulude saya katakan sukses untuk itu terima kasih dari kami bagi semua,” ujar Walikota Vicky Lumentut.
Ditambahkan, Walikota Vicky Lumentut lewat pelaksanaan Tulus, dapat dimaknai sebagai permintaan doa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa serta simbol meninggalkan yang tidak baik di tahun sebelumnya untuk kemudian memulai hal baik di tahun baru ini.
Walikota Vicky Lumentut meminta dukungan bagi seluruh warga Manado asal Nusa Utara terhadap berbagai program yang berkelanjutan di tahun 2020, jangan sampai ada yang salah mengimplementasikan program tersebut.
Sementara itu, Ketua IKISST Sulut, Prof. DR. Orbanus Naharia, M.Si, menyampaikan banyak terimakasih kepada Walikota Manado dan Wakil Walikota Manado, yang memasukan gelar budaya adat Tulude sebagai agenda rutin yang dilaksanakan oleh Pemerintah Kota Manado.
” Ini menjadi kebanggaan kami warga Manado asal Nusa Utara (Sangihe, Sitaro dan Talaud) dimana adat dan budaya kami mendapat tempat yang layak dan baik dalam Kepemimpinan Walikota dan Wakil Walikota sebagai agenda tahunan yang dilaksanakan oleh Pemerintah Kota Manado,” ujar Ketua IKISST Sulut ini.

Bastiaan,SE, Ketua TP PKK Kota Manado, Prof. Julyeta PA Lumentut – Runtuwene, MS, DEA, Wakil Ketua TP PKK Kota Manado, Imelda Bastiaan – Markus, SE, Ketua DPRD Kota Manado, Altje Dondokambey, Kapolresta Kota Manado, Kombes Pol, Benny Bawansel, SIK, MH, Forkimda Kota Manado/Mewakili, Jajaran Pejabat Eselon II dan III dilingkup Kota Manado, Para Tokoh Agama, Tokoh Masyarakat Asal Nusa Utara, serta tamu undangan lainnya.
