MANADO – Sejak Walikota Manado DR Ir GS Vicky Lumentut SH MSi DEA membuka kembali industri pariwisata di Kota Manado, usaha wisata di daerah ini mulai ramai pengunjung.
Diantaranya, restauran dan rumah makan semakin menjamur di Kota Manado. Bahkan, penikmat kuliner baik warga Manado maupun wisatawan luar Manado mulai berdatangan.
Melihat fenomena tersebut, Walikota GSVL mengingatkan warga dan pelaku wisata agar memperhatikan dan mematuhi protokol kesehatan Covid-19 yang ditetapkan pemerintah.
“Silahkan saja usaha wisata seperti restauran ataupun rumah makan dibuka, namun jangan lupa untuk menerapkan protokol kesehatan mengingat sampai saat ini virus Corona belum hilang di Kota Manado,”tegas Walikota GSVL.
Menurutnya, adaptasi kebiasaan baru khususnya pada dunia pariwisata dilakukan pemerintah untuk memberi kesempatan bagi pelaku usaha wisata beroperasi kembali.
Diketahui, Walikota GSVL telah membuka kembali industri pariwisata Kota Manado pada peringatan Proklamasi Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia di puncak gunung Pulau Manado Tua, 17 Agustus lalu. (*)
