Gorontalo – Persoalan kasus Covid-19 yang terjadi disejumlah daerah, menjadi salah satu topik utama pada rapat Dewan Pengurus Pusat Asosiasi Pemerintah Kota Seluruh Indonesia (Apeksi).
Hal tersebut dikarenakan dapat mengakibatkan keterisian Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) di rumah sakit rujukan meningkat drastis. Tidak hanya itu, tentunya ini turut mempengaruhi status Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM).
Walikota Gorontalo Marten Taha yang juga merupakan Wakil Ketua Umum 1 Bidang Pemerintahan dan Otonom Apeksi Pusat, turut mengungkapkan hal yang sama.
“Kota Gorontalo terdapat Rumah Sakit rujukan Covid -19 yang di tunjuk Kemenkes, tentu kami tidak hanya melayani pasien asal Kota Gorontalo. Yang jadi persoalan keterisian BOR, diidentikan dengan kenaikan status PPKM di Kota Gorontalo,” ungkap Walikota Marten saat mengikuti Rapat Apeksi secara virtual, Senin (09/08/2021).
Ia menjelaskan bahwa hanya sekitar 28% pasien Kota Gorontalo yang menjalani perawatan dan angka tersebut melonjak menjadi 86% berdasarkan BOR.
“Jika BOR jadi parameter, maka status level kita akan semakin naik. Padahal status PPKM kota Gorontalo berada pada level 3 bahkan bisa turun pada level 2,” jelas Walikota Marten.
Namun hal ini Tidak hanya terjadi di Kota Gorontalo, sejumlah pemerintah kota lainnya juga mengalami hal yang serupa. (***)
