Pohuwato –Yayasan pengembangan sumber daya manusia, Politeknik Gorontalo (Poltekgo) bermaksud untuk menjajaki kerjasama dengan pemerintah daerah kabupaten Pohuwato.
Namun sebelum kerjasama tersebut dilakukan, diawali pertemuan dengan pemda yang diterima Bupati Pohuwato, Saipul A. Mbuinga didampingi Assisten Perekonomian dan Pembangunan, Fikri Adam, unsur dinas pendidikan serta bagian pemerintahan di rumah jabatan bupati, Jum’at, (4/3/2022).
Sebagai pemerintah jelas Bupati Saipul, kerjasama yang dimaksud tentu sangat baik karena akan membantu masyarakat terutama mereka generasi muda yang merupakan generasi masa depan. Olehnya tujuan baik untuk menjajaki kerjasama ini sangat disambut, hanya saja tentu hasil pertemuan ini akan dibicarakan kembali terutama dengan OPD yang membidanginya.
Lanjut Bupati Saipul Mbuinga, langkah dari poltekgo dalam membangun SDM khususnya di pohuwato sangat di apresiasi, terlebih yayasan ini banyak menghasilkan tenaga kerja yang handal sesuai bidang atau kejuruan, apalagi lulusan dari poltekgo siap ditampung oleh perusahaan-perusahaan.
“Ini sangat baik untuk pengembangan SDM di Pohuwato, apalagi di yayasan ini terdapat beasiswa yang dipandang dapat membantu para mahasiswa dalam melanjutkan studi. Insyaallah anak-anak dari pohuwato banyak yang akan melanjutkan studi di poltekgo”,ucap Bupati Saipul.
Sebelumnya, Direktur Politeknik Gorontalo, Ismail Mohidin menyampaikan bahwa maksud ke pemda pohuwato ingin menjajaki kerjasama, dan tujuan kami untuk membantu pemerintah daerah dalam membangun SDM unggul.
“Tujuan lain karena kebetulan di poltekgo sendiri itu terdapat banyak beasiswa yang seharusnya bisa dimanfaatkan oleh mahasiswa asal gorontalo berupa beasiswa kif kerja, UKT, dan ada beasiswa yang diberikan oleh yayasan itu sendiri”, jelasnya.
Masih menurut Ismail, masalah biaya itu masalah kedua, penting punya keinginan bisa melanjutkan pendidikan ke vokasi. Yayasan ini lebih banyak praktekumnya, jadi lulusannya siap pakai.
Alhamdulillah sudah banyak perusahaan-perusahaan yang memang bekerjasama dengan kami yang siap menampung lulusan-lulusan Politeknik Gorontalo setelah mereka lulus. Di yayasan ini ada 3 program studi yakni mesin dan peralatan pertanian, (MPP), teknologi hasil pertanian (THP) dan teknologi informatika. (*/Jono)
