Tomohon – Ketua PMI Kota Tomohon Syerly Adelyn Sompotan (SAS) bersama pengurus di jajaran PMI Tomohon menyerahkan piagam penghargaan kepada PT Kawanua Puspa Buana (KPB).Selasa (3/3/2020) kemarin.
Penyerahan penghargaan tersebut karena suksesnya gelaran Donor Darah yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14 Februari 2020.
Respon positif dari ketua PMI Kota Tomohon tersebut dibuktikan dengan memberikan Piagam Penghargaan kepada perusahaan bakery tersebut.
SAS yang dikenal sebagai Wakil Walikota Tomohon ini menyampaikan terima kasih atas kerja sama yang telah dilakukan. “Kami PMI Kota Tomohon sangat berterima kasih atas program donor darah. Ini kerja sama yang sangat baik,” imbuhnya.
SAS menambahkan, penghargaan tersebut sebagai bentuk apresiasi pihaknya. Di samping itu, SAS juga menyatakan PMI Kota Tomohon siap menjalin kerja sama dari perusahaan tersebut terlebih khusus dalam misi kemanusiaan.
Sementara, Pimpinan PT Kawanua Puspa Buana Magdalena Fernandez berterima kasih kepada PMI Kota Tomohon untuk gelaran donor darah tersebut. “Ini penghargaan pertama yang diterima ketika saya di tempatkan di sini,” ujar Magdalena seraya menambahkan mendonorkan darah dapat menolong banyak orang.
Ia juga berharap kedepan, kegiatan sosial serupa dapat kembali digelar di perusahaan tersebut. (Oma)
