Amurang – Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu) Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan (Minsel) melaksanakan Bimbingan Teknis (Bimtek) bagi Panitia Pengawas Kecamatan (Panwascam) dalam menghadapi Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) tahun 2020.
Bimtek dilaksanakan di Hotel Sutanraja Amurang, pada 16-18 Januari 2020, dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman sekaligus peningkatan kapasitas pengetahuan bagi Panwascam dalam menyambut Pilkada nanti.
“Ini menjadi tanggung jawab kita selaku Pengawas Pilkada. Agar Pilkada sukses, makanya kita sudah dibekali berbagai pengetahuan dalam menyikapi pelanggaran-pelanggaran yang nantinya kita temui di lapangan. Makanya, kita menjadi seorang pengawas harus mempunyai pemahaman cukup untuk menghadapi Pemilu di tahun 2020 ini,” ujar Ketua Bawaslu Minsel, Eva Keintjem, Kamis (16/1/2020).
“Tupoksi ini adalah amanah yang harus dilaksanakan dengan sebaik-baiknya dengan mengedepankan Soliditas, Integritas, dan Mentalitas” ujar Kordiv SDM Bawaslu Kabupaten Minsel tersebut.
Sementara itu, Komisioner Bawaslu Minsel Franny Sengkey dan Abdul Majid Mamosey juga memberikan beberapa materi terkait dengan kepatuhan serta penguasaan diri dalam menyikapi berbagai permasalahan yang akan dihadapi dalam Pilkada nanti.
“Harapannya kegiatan ini bisa terbangun kesamaan persepsi dalam pengawasan Pilkada Minsel ke depan. Peserta bimtek harus memahami materi dengan baik” harapnya.
Kegiatan yang digelar sampai 18 Januari 2020 ini turut dihadiri dan memberikan materi Jhon Suak MPdk, DR Tommy Sumakul SH MH dan Drs. Syamsurijal A. J. Musa, yang memberikan penguatan kerja-kerja Panwascam se-Kabupaten Minsel. (*)
