Amurang – Bersama keluarga dan pendukung dr Michaela Elsiana Paruntu (MEP) secara resmi mendaftarkan diri sebagai Balon Bupati Minahasa Selatan tahun 2020 ke partai Nasdem, tepatnya di rumah restorasi partai Nasional Demokrat (Nasdem) Minsel yang terletak di Kelurahan Buyungon Kecamatan Amurang, Senin (9/12/2019).
Sebelumnya MEP sudah mendaftarkan diri di partai Golongan Karya (Golkar) pada beberapa waktu yang lalu, dan untuk memenuhi undangan akhirnya MEP mendaftarkan diri ke partai Nasdem.
Diketahui bahwa MEP merupakan Ketua Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Minsel dan juga sebagai ketua Remaja Senode Gmim saat mendaftar diantar langsung oleh para pendukung,Simpatisan serta petinggi Partai Golongan Karya (Golkar) Minsel dan Militansi MEP.
Dari titik kumpul di ramah keluarganya yang terletak dikelurahan Ranoyapo, MEP bersama- sama menuju ke Kantor Sekretariat partai Nasdem dsn tiba sekitar pukul 13.30 wita. MEP diterima langsung oleh Ketua DPC partai Nasdem John Rori, Sekertaris Ivan Rumokoy serta pengurus lainnya,dan para Anggota Dewan dari Fraksi Nasdem.
MEP mendaftar sebagai Bakal Calon Bupati Minahasa Selatan periode 2020-2025 dari Partai Nasdem. Didampingi Ketua Dewan Jenny J Tumbuan SE dan suami tercinta James Arthur Kojongian ST MM (JAK).
MEP dalam penyampaianya mengatakan bahwa dirinya berkomitmen untuk membangun Minahasa Selatan yang lebih baik lagi dan terus maju, berkembang dan tentunya membawa masyarakat menuju sejahtera.
