Manado – Kesempatan untuk melayani di ladang Tuhan kembali terbuka bagi Penatua dr Richard Sualang, yang saat ini dipercaya menjadi Ketua Pria Kaum Bapa (PKB) GMIM Wilayah Manado Malalayang Barat dalam pemilihan yang berlangsung di jemaat GMIM Elim Malalayang, Sabtu (22/1/2022).
Penatua Richard Sualang dalam pemilihan tersebut mengantongi hampir 100 persen suara yakni 27 suara dari 31 pemilih. Kesempatan ini juga jelas membuka peluang baginya untuk mengisi kursi Ketua Komisi PKB aras Sinode GMIM.
Meski demikian pria yang murah senyum ini mengatakan, mengikuti saja apa maunya Tuhan. “Saya menjalani dengan penuh sukacita setiap kesempatan dan kepercayaan yang Tuhan Yesus berikan melalui teman-teman PKB Malalayang Barat. Pastinya tanggungjawab penuh dalam pelayanan ini akan saya lakukan dengan segenap hati untuk memuliakan nama Tuhan,” katanya.
Diapun mengungkapkan terima kasih untuk kepercayaan yang diberikan oleh perwakilan PKB di wilayah Manado Malalayang Barat. “Terima kasih untuk kepercayaan dan tetap mohon doa dan dukungan ke depan pelayanan akan semakin baik. Torang maju bersama dalam pelayanan dan nama Tuhan Yesus dimuliakan,” ucapnya.
Dukungan pun mengalir untuknya untuk terus berbuat yang terbaik di lading Tuhan. “Penatua Icad memang orang yang tepat untuk mengisi jabatan ketua PKB Wilayah Malalayang Barat. Kalaupun nanti dipercaya sebagai Ketua PKB Sinode GMIM itu juga sangat layak baginya, karena secara langsung dia memiliki kemampuan dan komitmen kuat dalam pelayanan.
