Sulut – Pemerintah Provinsi Sulawesi Utara dibawah kepemimpinan Gubernur Olly Dondokambey dan Wakil Gubernur Steven O.E. Kandouw terus membuktikan keseriusannya untuk meringankan beban masyarakat terdampak pandemi corona atau covid-19 termasuk kepada penghuni panti sosial di Sulut baik panti anak, lanjut usia dan panti disabilitas.
Adapun aksi nyata yang dilakukan Pemprov melalui Dinas Sosial yang dipimpin Kadis Rinny Tamuntuan ini dengan melakukan tindakan preventif oleh tenaga Satuan Bakti Pekerja Sosial dengan menempelkan pamflet instruksi terkait kebersihan lingkungan, physical distancing dan menyiapkan alat pembersih disetiap panti.
Disamping itu, Bidang Rehabilitasi Sosial Dinsos bekerjasama dengan Tim Tagana telah melakukan penyemprotan disinfektan di panti-panti yang berada di Manado dan sekitarnya. Sedangkan untuk panti di daerah kepulauan, Bolmong dan Kotamobagu telah dilakukan penyemprotan oleh Dinsos Setempat.
Lebih lanjut, Dinsos Sulut juga telah menyalurkan bantuan kebutuhan pokok kepada panti anak, panti lanjut usia pada akhir Maret dan untuk panti disabilitas pada awal April. Adapun penyaluran bantuan untuk panti nantinya juga akan menjangkau panti yang berada di daerah kepulauan.
Diketahui, setiap langkah yang dilakukan Pemprov Sulut ini telah melalui koordinasi dengan pemerintah pusat dengan mengedepankan ketentuan yang berlaku demi kepentingan seluruh lapisan masyarakat. (*/JM)
