Walikota Eman Saat membuka Pembekalan dan Dialog dengan Tokoh Agama
Tomohon – Walikota Tomohon Jimmy F Eman SE Ak membuka pembekalan/konven pelayan khusus se-wilayah Tomohon Empat dirangkaikan dengan dialog Pemerintah Kota Tomohon dengan tokoh-tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat se-wilayah Tomohon Empat,bertempat di Aula Rumah Dinas Walikota Tomohon, Sabtu (9/3)
Rangkaian kegiatan ini diawali dengan ibadah yang dipimpin oleh Khadim Pdt Karli Karundeng MTh juga selaku Ketua Komisi Pembinaan Warga Gereja WIlayan Tomohon Empat.
Walikota Tomohon Jimmy F Eman SE Ak dalam sambutannya sekaligus membuka rangkaian kegiatan secara resmi mengatakan bahwa menurut tata gereja GMIM, pelayan khusus adalah anugerah Tuhan yang diyakini sebagai hikmat Allah dalam Roh Kudus dan bukan hikmat manusia, pelayan khusus adalah anggota sidi jemaat yang dipanggil oleh Yesus Kristus dari antara anggota jemaat dan dipercayakan tugas pelayanan untuk memperlengkapi seluruh anggota jemaat agar mampu melaksanakan panggilan gereja, proses pemanggilan pelayan khusus adalah melalui pemilihan, penetapan, peneguhan serta pemberian diri sepenuhnya untuk tugas gerejawi.
“Tugas pelayan khusus memang tidaklah mudah, karena bertanggung jawab langsung kepada Tuhan, oleh karena itu, lewat kegiatan-kegiatan pembekalan seperti saat ini kiranya dapat lebih melengkapi spiritualitas atau kedewasaan iman serta membangkitkan motivasi para pelayan khusus di wilayah Tomohon Empat dalam hal pelaksanaan tugas sebagai hamba Tuhan,” ujar Eman.
“Pelaksanaan dialog ini juga sangat penting dalam mencegah terjadinya perpecahan dalam kontestasi politik, sebab itu peran tokoh-tokoh agama sangat strategis dalam mendinginkan suasana, membentuk opini positif masyarakat dalam menghadapi pemilu 2019,” tutup Walikota.
Turut hadir, Ketua BPMW Tomohon Empat Pdt Daniel Bastian SPak MTh, Ketua FKUB Kota Tomohon Pdt Vonny Roring STh, Ketua PKB Wilayah Tomohon Empat Pnt Ir Stefanus B A N Liow MAP juga selaku anggota DPD RI, Ketua WKI Wilayah Tomohon Empat Pnt Ir Miky J L Wenur MAP juga selaku Ketua DPRD Kota Tomohon, para ketua BPMJ se-wilayah Tomohon Empat serta para penatua dan syamas se-wilayah Tomohon Empat.
