Manado – Pemerintah Kota Manado kembali memperpanjang waktu penutupan tempat hiburan malam. Masa perpanjangan ini ditambah 26 hari, yakni mulai 4 Mei 2020 hingga 29 Mei 2020.
Kebijakan tersebut dilakukan sebagai upaya peningkatan kewaspadaan terhadap penularan wabah COVID-19. Sebelumnya, penutupan sementara telah diterapkan dan kembali diperpanjang hingga 29 Mei 2020.
Perpanjangan tempat hiburan malam dan sejenisnya, termasuk himbauan bagi pemuka agama dan jemaatnya agar beribadah minggu/kolom atau bersembayang dan/atau sholat/jumatan/tarawe agar dilaksanakan dirumah masing-masing, tertuang dalam Surat Edaran Walikota Manado No : 044/D. 21/PEMDAL-PTSP/283/2020 Tanggal 4 Mei 2020 tentang Pencegahan Penyebaran Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) di Kota Manado. Dan ditandatangani oleh Wali Kota, DR. Ir.GS Vicky Lumentut, SH, M.Si, DEA, pada 04 Mei 2020.
“Tempat Hiburan Malam, Spa, Pusat Olahraga ( Fitness Centre, Gym dan lain-lain) dan usaha sejenisnya agar ditutup untuk sementara waktu sampai dengan tanggal 29 Mei 2020,” demikian bunyi point satu dalam Surat Edaran tersebut.
