Jakarta – Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy membeberkan tentang rencana pemerintah membentuk satuan tugas (satgas) untuk menangani kasus penularan Covid-19 atau biasa disebut dengan virus corona.
Muhadjir juga mengaku telah menyusun konsep tentang pembentukan satgas penanggulangan wabah corona tersebut. Apalagi saat ini diketahui sudah ada empat orang yang dinyatakan positif terinfeksi virus corona.
“Konsep sudah saya ajukan ke Presiden. Kita sedang menunggu arahan lebih lanjut dari beliau. Ini bukan crisis center ya, hanya gugus tugas,” kata Muhadjir kepada awak media usai peletakan batu pertama pembangunan Museum Muhammadiyah di Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon (UMC), Kabupaten Cirebon, Jabar, Sabtu (7/3/2020).
Lebih lanjut, Muhadjir menerangkan pemerintah telah bekerja secara maksimal dalam mencegah penyebaran wabah virus corona, sebelum virus tersebut menginfeksi empat orang di Indonesia.
“Ini ada payung hukumnya Keppres nomor 4 tahun 2018 tentang penanggulangan bencana dalam keadaan tertentu. Jadi ini (corona) sebetulnya bencana. Saat ini ada empat kasus, memang harus diperkuat gugus tugasnya itu. Kita sudah punya persiapan yang cukup,” kata Muhadjir.
Selain membentuk satgas, dikatakan Muhadjir, pemerintah berencana menambah tempat karantina baru yakni di Pulau Galang, Kepulauan Riau.
“Sekarang ada dua di Natuna dan Sebaru Kecil. Rencana penambahan observasi dan karantina di Pulau Galang, tidak membangun tapi merenovasi,” ucap Muhadjir.
