Jakarta-Menteri Agraria dan Tata Ruang/Kepala Badan Pertanahan Nasional (ATR/BPN) RI, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), membuka secara resmi kegiatan International Conference on Social Impact Assessment, di Hotel Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Selasa (17/09/2024).
Hal tersebut, sejalan dengan tema ‘Implementing Better Land Acquisition in Challenging Tenurial Settings: Balancing Acceleration, Certainty, and Fairness’.
Menteri AHY, menegaskan, Kementerian ATR/BPN akan terus melakukan pendekatan yang tepat, humanis, dan progresif dalam Pengadaan Tanah bagi masyarakat.
“Dalam prosesnya kita harus ingat, bahwa pengadaan tanah tidak boleh menyakiti siapa pun. Kepedulian terhadap kelompok rentan dalam Pengadaan tanah diharapkan tidak hanya dicerminkan melalui pemberian ganti rugi yang adil secara nominal, tetapi bagaimana memastikan mereka menjadi bagian dari pembangunan dan tidak menjadi kelompok yang terpinggirkan akibat pengadaan tanah.
