Bitung, Redaksisulut – Mengatasnamakan kemanusiaan Pihak penyelenggara Pemilu khususnya Kota Bitung ambil sikap tegas untuk menunda pilkada 2020.
Hal ini disampaikan Ketua KPU Kota Bitung, Deslie Sumampow bahwa dimana sebagai lembaga hierarki kami harus ikut apa yang sudah diinstruksikan KPU RI.
“Saat ini saya tegaskan bahwa KPU Bitung siap mengembalikan anggaran yang belum digunakan. Dari total anggaran dana hibah sebesar 33 Miliar dan masih ada sekitar 20 miliar belum terpakai itu bisa digunakan dalam penanganan covid 19. Bagi kami alasan kemanusian jauh lebih penting dan itu wajib hukumnya demi rakyat yang sedang mengalami musibah”. Kata Deslie.
Ia berharap dengan diambilnya sikap tegas ini bisa membantu penanganan covid 19 atau virus corona.
“Dengan diambilnya sikap tegas penundaan pilkada 2020 ini kami sangat berharap permasalahan covid 19 ini bisa cepat teratasi, saat ini yang harus dipikirkan bagaimana cara masyarakat bisa terhindar dari virus mematikan ini dan untuk masyarakat khususnya Kota Bitung diharapkan untuk mengikuti anjuran yang sudah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah”.
