Manado, – Salah satu kandidat Wakil Walikota Manado Syarifudin Saafa, Sabtu (14/12) malam resmi mengembalikan formulir sebagai bakal calon Wakil Walikota Manado di Partai Amanat Nasional Kota Manado.

Syarifudin Saafa atau biasa disapa Bung Syarif, kepada wartawan mengatakan kalau dirinya maju dalam Pilwako Manado dengan membawa konsep yang jelas untuk membangun Kota Manado.

“Saya maju dengan konsep tidak ingin membangun politik identitas, justru yang kami tawarkan adalah politik gagasan,” ungkapnya.

Lanjut Bung Syarif, dengan usia yang sudah 396 tahun, Manado harus ada perubahan dalam pengertian Kota Manado yang lebih baik.

“Tidak bisa dipungkiri Kota Manado sudah ada prestasi, tapi masih dibutuhkan sentuhan baru yang luar biasa,” jelas Bung Syarif.

Lebih lanjut Bung Syarif menjelaskan, Manado saat ini membutuhkan pemimpin yang punya political will dan political action yang kuat.

“Bukan hanya sekedar kuat merencanakan, tetapi juga kuat dalam merealisasikan apa yang sudah direncanakan tersebut,” pungkas Bung Syarif. (ivan)
