Morut-Komisi Pemilihan Umum Daerah (KPUD) Kabupaten Morowali Utara (Morut), mulai mendistribusikan logistik untuk kepentingan Pemilu Serentak 2024, Sabtu (10/02/2024) pagi.
Distribusi logistik tersebut, dimulai ke dua Kecamatan terjauh, yakni Kecamatan Bungku Utara dan Mamosalato, dengan jumlah 480 kotak suara, yang akan disalurkan ke 96 TPS yang ada di dua Kecamatan tersebut.
Distribusi logistik untuk dua Kecamatan ini, akan menempuh jalur laut dengan menggunakan KMP Ferry Dolosi yang di angkut oleh 5 unit truck. Setelah tiba nantinya, logistik akan langsung di antar ke PPK , dan selanjutnya diteruskan ke masing – masing TPS yang ada di seluruh Desa di dua Kecamatan itu.
Pada kesempatan itu, Ketua KPUD Morut, Rudi Hartono, menjelaskan, logistik Pemilu tersebut akan terus didistribusikan dari 10 – 13 April 2024, berakhir di Kecamatan Petasia Kabupaten Morut.
Ia mengatakan, khusus untuk Kecamatan Bungku Utara dan Mamosalato, berdasarkan pengalaman yang ada, dalam proses pendistribusian logistik Pemilu, biasanya dibeberapa tempat terkendala oleh kondisi alam dan cuaca ekstrim, sehingga membutuhkan dukungan dari semua stakehoulder yang ada di dua Kecamatan tersebut.
“Ada beberapa titik daerah, seperti Desa Menyoe di Kecamatan Mamosalato yang pendistribusian logistiknya harus dilakukan oleh manusia. Logistik Pemilu yang kami distribusikan dilakukan secara safety, sehingga tidak mudah hancur dan rusak ketika terkena sesuatu, ” ujar Rudi Hartono.
Rudi Hartono, berharap agar Pelaksanaan Pemilu Serentak 2024 nantinya, bisa berjalan aman dan lancar. Pihaknya juga akan berupaya semaksimal mungkin, untuk melaksanakan tugas pengabdiannya secara profesional dan bertanggung jawab.
“Pada prinsipnya KPUD Morut, dalam pelaksanaan tugasnya tetap berpegang teguh pada amanat Undang – Undang (UU), ” tandas Ketua KPUD Morut, Rudi Hartono. (NAL)
