Manado – Satuan Reserse (Satres) Narkoba Polresta Manado kembali menangkap pengedar pengguna barang haram narkoba jenis shabu. Penangkapan itu dilakukan di Desa Tateli Tiga, Jaga III, Kecamatan Mandolang, Jumat (18/10) sekitar 14.00 Wita.
Kapolresta Manado Kombes Pol Benny Bawensel, dalam konfrensi pers di lobby Bharadaksa Polresta Manado, mengatakan anggotanya berhasil menangkap satu orang kurir narkoba.
“Jadi yang ditangkap satu orang kurir lelaki berinisial IY (2-an), warga Kota Manado, dengan barang bukti 6,7 gram dalam satu paket shabu yang disimpan di dalam kantong bening,” ujarnya, Kamis (24/10) siang tadi.
Lanjut dia, pelaku sendiri merupakan jaringan antar Kota. Dan ada beberapa orang yang terlibat dalam kasus ini.
“Barang diketahui diambil di Kota Palu. Tersangka ini diiming-imingi dengan uang Rp 800 ribu untuk mengambil barang tersebut,” ungkap Bawensel.
Jadi, tersangka mengambil barang bukti Shabu itu dari Palu dan dibawa ke Manado. Namun anggota Polresta Manado sudah mendapat informasi dan melakukan penyelidikan.
“Jadi seminggu sebelumnya, kita sudah mendapat informasi bahwa akan ada narkoba jenis shabu yang akan masuk ke Kota Manado. Saat tersangka turun dari angkutan antar kota (Bus) anggota langsung menyergapnya,” tegas dia.
Dari tanggan tersangka anggota berhasil menyita narkoba jenis Shabu, handphone timbangan digital dan botol kecil deodoran Rexona untuk disimpan shabu. Adapun pasal yang akan dikenakan terhadap tersangka dengan pasal 112 ayat 1 UU RI No.35 tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika.
“Tersangka akan dikenakan hukuman dengan ancaman 12 tahun penjara dan denda Rp 8 miliyar,” tutur mantan Kapolres Minsel itu. (Dwi)
