Jakarta – Akibat virus corona, sejumlah kepala daerah di Indonesia mengambil kebijakan dengan meliburkan sementara kegiatan belajar mengajar sekolah di daerahnya. Ini dilakukan untuk mencegah meluasnya penyebaran virus ini.
Ketua KPAI Susanto berharap orang tua siswa agar tak mengajak anak-anak jalan-jalan ke luar rumah. Ia mengimbau para orang tua mendampingi anaknya belajar di rumah.
“Orang tua perlu mendampingi anak-anaknya tetap belajar dan bermain di rumah, tidak memanfaatkan libur sekolahuntuk jalan-jalan ke mal, bioskop atau tempat-tempat keramaian,” kata dia, seperti di kutip Esensinews.com, di Jakarta, Senin (16/3/2020).
Imbauan tersebut menurut Susanto, untuk membantu pemerintah mencegah penyebaran virus corona secara efektif. Selain itu, ia juga mendukung Menteri PAN-RB Tjahjo Kumolo untuk memberi kesempatan para ASN untuk bekerja di rumah.
“Tentu perlu diatur secara cermat dan tepat. Prinsipnya segala potensi yang memungkinkan penyebaran virus corona mesti dicegah secara dini,” tuturnya. (Red)
