Tomohon – Walikota Tomohon Jimmy Fidie Eman SE,Ak,CA,menghadiri kegiatan International Training Program (ITP) dengan mengambil tema “The Strengthening of Child Health Handbook Implementation in Collaboration with Professional Organization” Selasa (17/09/2019).
ITP diselenggarakan atas dukungan JICA kepada Pemerintah Indonesia, yang ditunjuk menjadi tuan rumah karena telah berhasil mengintegrasikan Buku KIA ke dalam program nasional.
Walikota Tomohon dalam sambutannya mengapresiasi setinggi-tingginya kepada Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia yang telah menerapkan Kota Tomohon sebagai tempat dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini sekaligus tempat lokasi kunjungan lapangan bagi peserta untuk melihat dan belajar bagaimana implementasi penggunaan buku Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak (KIA) di fasilitas kesehatan yaitu di puskesmas dan rumah sakit serta di posyandu
Sebelumnya dilakukan pembacaan laporan Panitia Penyelenggara International Training Program oleh Ibu dr. Ni Made Niah, MKM.
International training program on MCH Handbook diselenggarakan setiap tahun, sejak tahun 2008, hingga tahun ini telah 11 kali menjadi tuan rumah dengan peserta dari 15 negara.
Dengan tujuan kegiatan ini yaitu para Peserta mendapatkan pembelajaran tentang penerapan Buku KIA di Indonesia, penerapan di tingkat masyarakat, fasilitas kesehatan dasar dan rujukan.
Peserta mendapatkan pembelajaran menjalin kolaborasi dengan organisasi profesi atau stakeholder terkait Buku KIA.
Kegiatan kiranya dengan terselenggaranya kegiatan ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan acuan dan metode pembelajaran bersama sebagaimana untuk memperkuat pelayanan kesehatan ibu dan anak melalui pemanfaatan buku KIA.
Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh Walikota Tomohon Jimmy Feidie Eman, SE.Ak., CA., Sekretaris Daerah Kota Tomohon Ir. Harold V. Lolowang, M.Sc. Perwakilan Kementerian Kesehatan RI Ibu dr.
