Morut-Jalan poros Desa Mohoni menuju Desa Bimor Jaya di Kecamatan Petasia Timur, Kabupaten Morowali Utara (Morut) yang pada tahun 2024 sebelumnya terputus, akibat gerusan sungai Tambalako kini sudah selesai dikerjakan dengan baik lewat program Rehabilitasi dan Rekonstruksi jalan yang dilakukan oleh Perusahaan tambang PT Ernesteel bekerjasama dengan Pemerintah Daerah (Pemda) Kabupaten Morowali Utara (Morut) melalui Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD).
Program rehabilitasi dan rekonstruksi jalan sepanjang kurang lebih 150 meter dan diperkirakan menelan anggaran sebesar Rp.2 milyar itu dikerjakan dan dibiayai langsung oleh Perusahaan tambang tersebut.
Hal ini juga merupakan instruksi langsung dari Bupati Morut, Dr dr Delis Julkarson Hehi MARS, sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab sosial mereka kepada masyarakat yang berada di wilayah lingkar tambangnya.
Kepala BPBD Morut, Delfia Parenta ST, dikonfirmasi media ini, Sabtu (15/02/2025) siang, memberikan apresiasi positif serta ucapan terima kasih kepada Perusahaan tambang tersebut, yang telah berkontribusi nyata untuk memperbaiki jalan rusak di poros Mohoni menuju Bimor Jaya.
“Dengan selesainya program rehabilitasi dan rekonstruksi jalan di poros Mohoni menuju Bimor Jaya, BPBD Morut tidak perlu lagi mengeluarkan anggaran tanggap darurat bencana untuk memperbaiki jalan tersebut, karena telah di tuntaskan dengan baik oleh Perusahaan tersebut, sesuai dengan Perintah Bupati Morut, sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab sosial kepada masyarakat yang bermukim di daerah lingkar tambang mereka.
