Bitung, Redaksisulut – KPU Kota Bitung siap menerima kedatangan Pasangan Calon (Paslon) Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Bitung yang akan mendaftar pada hari ini. Jumat, (4/9/2020).
Hal ini terlihat dari kesiapan dihari pertama pendaftaran dimana area kantor KPU Kota Bitung sudah di penuhi ratusan personil dari Polres Bitung dan TNI serta penutupan jalan di depan Kantor KPU Bitung.
Menurut informasi, kata Ketua KPU Kota Bitung, Deslie Sumampouw untuk Paslon yang akan mendaftar di hari pertama Max J Lomban dan Martin Daniel Tumbelaka (MJL-MDT).
“Yang akan mendaftar dihari pertama pendaftaran Paslon MJL-MDT dan rencananya pada hari ini pukul 14.00 Wita”. Kata Deslie seraya mengatakan bahwa saat ini kita sudah sangat siap menerima kedatangan Paslon.
Sementara itu Kapolres Bitung, AKBP FX Winardi Prabowo mengatakan bahwa penutupan akses jalan di depan Kantor KPU merupakan bagian dari pengamanan untuk menjamin rasa aman serta menjaga Kamtibmas agar tetap kondusif selama tahapan pelaksanaan Pilkada serentak.
“Ada 100 personil yang diturunkan untuk melakukan pengamanan dan disebar di sejumlah lokasi di area Kantor KPU dan dalam pengamanan juga dibantu personil Kodim 1310 Bitung sebanyak 25 orang. Intinya kita all out melakukan pengamanan”. Kata Kapolres.
Kapolres juga mengatakan bahwa dalam pengamanan pihaknya tetap mengedepankan protap kesehatan pencegahan covid-19.
“Untuk protap kesehatan tetap kita kedepankan. Semuanya wajib mengenakan masker, jaga jarak dan cuci tangan”. Katanya. (Wesly)
