Manado – Tim Narkoba Polresta Manado barhasil meringkus pelaku pengedar obat terlarang jenis trihexiphenidyl. Pelaku yakni JO alias Juan (20) warga Kelurahan Ranotana Kecamatan Wanea. Lelaki yang diketahui seorang pengangguran ini diringkus saat berada di Kelurahan Winangun Satu Kecamatan Malalayang, Minggu (27/3) sekitar 13.00 Wita.
Menurut informasi yang dirangkum, penangkapan berawal saat Tim Narkoba Polresta Manado, menerima informasi dari masyarakat. Dimana, ada seorang lelaki yang sering mengedarkan obat terlarang jenis trihexiphenidyl di Kecamatan Malalayang.
Berdasarkan adanya informasi tersebut, Tim langsung melakukan penyelidikan. Alhasil, tak butuh waktu lama, pelaku berhasil diringkus saat berada di Kelurahan Winangun Satu Kecamatan Malalayang.
Sementara itu Kasat Narkoba Polresta Manado Kompol Sugeng W.S SH SIK, ketika diwawancarai mengatakan, saat akan dilakukan penangkapan, pelaku sempat membuang ponsel miliknya kemudian melarikan diri dengan cara melompat di sungai dan bersembunyi bawah jembatan saluran air.
“Saat dilakukan penggeledahan badan, Tim menemukan 25 butir obat keras jenis trihexiphenidyl tanpa ijin edar yang disimpan disaku celana kanan terbungkus dengan plastik bening kecil yang siap untuk diedarkan. Saat ini pelaku sedang dalam pemeriksaan penyidik dan akan segera diproses sesuai hukum yang berlaku,” pungkasnya. (Dwi)
