Manado – Seorang lelaki berinisial AJ alias Opo (40) warga Kelurahan Sumompo Lingkungan V Kecamatan Tuminting, terpaksa harus dilumpuhkan dengan timah panas dikaki kanannya, karena mencoba melawan petugas saat hendak diamankan. Pengangguran ini diamankan oleh Tim Resmob Polresta Manado, karena telah melakukan tindak pidana pencurian barang elektronik (curanik). Ia diringkus ditempat persembunyiannya yang berada di Desa Bulawan Kecamatan Kotabunan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Timur (Boltim), Sabtu (31/8) sekitar 20.00 Wita.
Menurut informasi yang dirangkum, penangkapan itu berawal saat Tim Resmob Polresta Manado, menerima laporan dari korban yakni Arifin Pangau (33) warga Kelurahan Pandu Kecamatan Bunaken. Dimana pada Sabtu (24/8) lalu, telah terjadi kasus pencurian barang elektronik dirumah korban.
Berdasarkan laporan tersebut, Tim Resmob yang dipimpin Ipda Herry Johanis ini langsung melakukan pencarian terhadap pelaku. Setelah diketahui keberadaan pelaku, Tim langsung bergerak ke Desa Bulawan Kecamatan Kotabunan Kabupaten Boltim. Alhasil pelaku dapat diamankan di tempat pereembunyianya.
Namun saat hendak dilakukan pencarian barang bukti, pelaku mencoba untuk melawan petugas. Hingga akhirnya pelaku terpaksa harus dilumpuhkan dengan timah panas di kaki kanannya. Selanjutnya bersama barang bukti hasil curian yakni TV LED 40inch, digiring ke Mapolresta Manado untuk proses lebih lanjut.
Sementara itu Kapolresta Manado Kombes Pol Benny Bawensel SIK melalui Kasat Reskrim AKP Thommy Aruan SH SIK MH membenarkan adanya penangkapan tersebut, “saat ini pelaku sudah di jebloskan kedalam sel dan akan segera diproses sesuai hukum yang berlaku,” Pungkasnya. (Dwi)
