Tondano – Ditengah mewabahnya Virus Corona atau Covid-19 Anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kabupaten Minahasa, Deily Watulingas bersama pengurus Pimpinan Anak Cabang (PAC) Partai Demokrat Tondano Utara, memberikan bantuan kepada sejumlah masyarakat berupa sembako di daerah pemilihan (dapil) Satu.
Legislator asal Walauan Tondano Utara ini, selain memberikan bantuan sembako, ia juga melakukan penyemprotan cairan disinfektan di tempat – tempat ibadah dan rumah warga serta sarana pendidikan.
“Bantuan dan penyemprotan ini baru dilakukan di beberapa kelurahan yang ada di dapil Satu. Diantaranya kelurahan Wulauan, Kampung Jawa dan Masarang,” ujar Watulingas.Selasa ( 7/4/2020).
Kegiatan Bansos dan penyemprotan cairan disinfektan, merupakan instruksi Dewan Pimpinan Pusat (DPP) Partai Demokrat, untuk mencegah penyebaran wabah Covid-19.
“Semua pengurus, baik dari pusat, DPD, DPC dan PAC wajib melaksanakan instruksi pak Ketua Umum Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, untuk melaksanakan kegiatan ini demi memutus mata rantai penyebaran Virus Corona,” Ucap Watulingas.
Dijelaskannya, yang menerima bantuan bapok, adalah mereka yang terdampak mewabahnya virus corona, Selain itu, penyemprotan disinfiktan dilakukan atas permintaan dari konstituen.
“Semoga bantuan ini bisa meringankan beban warga yang terdampak langsung dari wabah virus Corona,” tutup Watulingas.
