Tondano – Demi mencegah penyebaran virus corona atau Covid-19, Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (Disdukcapil) Kabupaten Minahasa sementara tidak melayani pelayanan tatap muka. Upaya ini dilakukan sejak Pemkab Minahasa menerapkan pembatasan sosial (social distancing). Dan hanya membuka pelayanan melalui sistim online dengan cara melalui soft copy dokumen ke nomor WhatsApp (WA) petugas Dukcapil.
“Di tengah mewabahnya virus Corona Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Minahasa tetap melakukan pelayanan, namun melalui WhatsApp,” kata Kadis Dukcapil Minahasa Drs Luvi Rumate,M.Si, Senin (27/04/2020).
Dijelaskan Rumate, hal ini berdasarkan Surat Edaran Pemkab Minahasa nomor 800/065/Sekt./Dukcapil perihal kebijakan Pengurusan Dokumen Kependudukan dalam rangka Pencegahan Penularan Covid-19 yang di tandatangani Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Minahasa Frits R. Muntu S.Sos.
“Pelayanan akan dilayani melalui WA atau melalui SMS ke nomor yang sudah disiapkan. Diharapkan masyarakat untuk tidak datang langsung, ini semua menjaga pencegahan penyebaran corona,” Ujar Rumate. (Ronny)
