Manado – Melalui live streaming, Walikota Manado DR Ir GS Vicky Lumentut SH MSi DEA mengikuti upacara memperingati Hari Pendidikan Nasional (Hardiknas) tahun 2020, Sabtu (02/05/2020).
Upacara yang berlangsung sederhana itu dipimpin Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud) Nadiem Makarim dari Jakarta dan disiarkan secara live streaming oleh Kementerian Dikbud Republik Indonesia.
Meski hanya memonitor dari rumah kediaman puncak Malalayang, Kecamatan Malalayang, namun Walikota GSVL tampak khidmat mengikuti seluruh proses upacara.
“Selamat Hari Pendidikan Nasional 2 Mei 2020, dibawa tema Belajar dari Covid-19. Mari torang belajar dari Covid-19 dengan semakin arif dan bijaksana mengisi waktu dengan kesehatan yang Tuhan berikan,”ujar Walikota GSVL.
Dikatakan orang nomor satu di Manado itu, berkaitan dengan tema Hardiknas tahun 2020 ini yakni belajar dari Covid-19, adanya pandemi Covid-19 telah mengajarkan banyak hal kepada masyarakat untuk taat kepada pemerintah.
“Covid-19 mengajari kita semua untuk semakin taat kepada Pemerintah, dengan patuh ikuti petunjuk Pemerintah tentang protokol kesehatan, diam di rumah, jaga jarak 1-2 meter, sering mencuci tangan pakai sabun di air yang mengalir, pakai masker kalau keluar rumah, atau bercerita dengan orang lain, ibadah di rumah, kerja dari rumah, belajar dari rumah dan makan yang sehat,”tandas Walikota GSVL.
Dirinya mengajak semua pihak untuk bersama mengisi hari-hari di rumah dengan kegiatan yang kreatif dan positif, terutama untuk memperkuat ketahanan pangan dan mendukung ketahanan kesehatan.
“Dan mari isi waktu ini dengan inovasi dan kreasi yang positif untuk mendukung ketahanan kesehatan, ketahanan pangan, ketahanan ekonomi keluarga dan warga Manado. Kemudian sebagai orang percaya yang paling penting lagi, yakni Iman lebih kuat didalam Tuhan, makin cinta dan kasih terhadap keluarga,”pungkas Wali Kota GSVL. (JM)
