Tondano – Bupati Minahasa Ir. Royke O Roring, M.Si diwakili Asisten II Sekdakab Drs Hanes Donald Wagey MBA membuka sosialisasi Kelompok Informasi Masyarakat (KIM) yang digelar oleh Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Minahasa. Di Aula Imanuel Koya, Kecamatan Tondano Selatan, Kamis (12/9/2019).
Kegiatan diawali laporan Kepala Dinas Kominfo Agustivo Tumundo, SE. M.Si ini diikuti oleh para tokoh masyarakat utusan Desa/Kelurahan mewakili 25 Kecamatan di Minahasa, dengan Nara Sumber Kabid Dinas Kominfo, Persandian dan Statistik Provinsi Sulut Drs John Rembet MSi.
Sambutan Bupati Minahasa diwakili Asisten II Hanes D. Wagey, MBA menyampaikan pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialisasi pengembangan dan pemberdayaan kelompok informasi masyarakat ini untuk memberikan nilai tambah kehidupan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya suatu informasi.
Lanjut Wagey, selain itu akan memperluas akses informasi melalui kelompok informasi masyarakat dan mendorong tumbuh kembangnya informasi masyarakat secara mandiri sebagai wahana informasi.
“Kelompok informasi masyarakat merupakan perpanjangan tangan pemerintah dalam menyampaikan informasi tentang perkembangan dan pembangunan serta dapat menambah pengetahuan guna menjadi lebih baik kedepannya” jelas Wagey.
Lebih lanjut Wagey menyampaikan dalam rangka menunjang perwujudan Indonesia yang demokratis serta masyarakat yang peduli dan memahami informasi.
“Masyarakat perlu diberdayakan dalam hal pengelolaan Informasi secara demokratis guna mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan untuk kepentingan kebijakan pemerintah,” ucapnya.
Diharapkan pembentukan kelompok informasi masyarakat berperan dalam memperlancar kontribusi dan distribusi informasi kepada masyarakat, serta menjembatani masyarakat dan pemerintah daerah dalam penyebaran informasi dan penyerapan aspirasi.
“Diharapkan KIM ini dapat memberikan informasi hasil pembangunan yang sedang atau sudah dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah, serta sebagai mitra dialog dengan pemerntah dalam merumuskan kebijakn publik. Sehingga pemerintah daerah mengharapkan sosialisasi pemberdayaan kelompok informasi masyarakat KIM nantinya dapat memberikan pemahaman serta menyamakan persepsi dan juga menjadi salah satu solusi alternatif dalam menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat dalam berbagai sektor. “tutupnya.
