Tomohon – Untuk mengemban misi kemanusiaan Satuan Tugas (Satgas) Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Kota Tomohon, memperlihatkan kepeduliannya terhadap warga yang membutuhkan bantuan.
Mendapat laporan warga, tim satgas PMI Kota Komohon Tomohon bergegas mengevakuasi salah satu warga yang bernama Wihelmina Welmintje Onnie Salmon, Warga Kakaskasen Satu lingkungan Satu Kota Tomohon. Salmon biasa disebut Oma Onnie dilaporkan sejumlah warga sekitar, dalam keadaan sakit dan memprihatinkan karena dia dalam keadaan sakit dan hanya tinggal sendirian di rumah, Senin (11/03).
Ketua PMI Tomohon Syerly Adelyn Sompotan (SAS), yang juga Wakil Walikota Tomohon, bergerak cepat. Tim dipimpin Wakil Ketua Barcelino Wowor didampingi Lurah Kakaskasen Satu Toar Sompotan, langsung menjemput Oma Onnie menggunakan Ambulans menuju RSUD Pratama Anugerah Tomohon.
Sesampainya di RSUD, Oma Onie mendapat penanganan khusus dari tim medis. “Saya sudah berkoordinasi dengan RSUD Anugerah dalam penanganan Oma Onie. Jika beliau tak memiliki jaminan kesehatan, nanti akan dicover oleh PMI Tomohon,” ujar SAS saat dikonfirmasi.
Terkait peristiwa ini, SAS pun mengucapkan terima kasih kepada warga yang peduli dengan keberadaan Oma Onnie yang diketahui hidup sendiri dan cukup memprihatinkan.
“Jikalau menemukan hal seperti ini dan butuh bantuan sosial, silahkan warga melaporkan ke PMI Tomohon agar secepatnya mendapat penanganan,atau bisa melalui media sosial Facebook lewat pesan Mesanger Syerly Adelyn Sompotan. ungkap SAS. (Oma)
