Tomohon – Sempat memacetkan ruas jalan kota Tomohon, Syerly Adelyn Sompotan (SAS) mendaftarkan diri sebagai Bakal Calon (Balon) Walikota ke Partai Golkar Kota Tomohon di dampingi suami tercinta Terklin Purba dan Wakil Ketua DPD partai Golkar Sulut Arther Wuwung. Sabtu (16/11/2019).
Kedatangan SAS ke kantor Sekretariat partai Golkar Tomohon diterima langsung oleh Ketua Harian Piet Pungus bersama Sekretaris Partai Golkar Kota Tomohon Frets Keles serta pengurus partai Golkar lainnya.
Ribuan pendukung dan simpatisan mengantar SAS ke kantor Sekretariat Partai Golkar untuk mendaftarkan diri sebagai Bakal Calon, sehingga sempat membuat macet sejumlah ruas jalan yang ada di kota Tomohon.
Sesaat setelah selesai mendaftarkan diri ke Partai Golkar, SAS menjawab pertanyaan yang di lontarkan sejumlah wartawan terhadap dirinya. Menurutnya bahwa visi misinya untuk maju ke Pilwako Kota Tomohon 2020 adalah untuk membawa kota Tomohon ke arah yang lebih baik lagi serta memajukan kita Tomohon baik dari segi pembangunan fisik maupun pembangunan masyarakatnya yang lebih sejahterah.
SAS menyadari bahwa apa yang dia lakukan saat ini belum maksimal sehingga hal itu ia ingin memperbaikinya.
Disinggung apabila ada partai lain yang ingin mengusung dirinya, SAS dengan nada khasnya lemah lembut menjawab bahwa dirinya tetap pada komitmen memakai kendaraan partai Golkar yang telah membuat dirinya menjadi dewasa dalam berpolitik. ” Saya tetap Golkar,” tegas SAS.
“Banyak terima kasih kepada pendukung dan simpatisan yang telah meluangkan waktu untuk mengantar saya mendaftar di partai Golkar untuk maju di Pilwako 2020 nanti,” Ujar SAS. (Oma)
